Max Lucado ‘s Just in Case You Ever Feel Alone is a story which reassures children that no matter what happens, they will never be alone。 God will always be there for them。 Told alone with beautiful illustrations of a bear family, this book will surely become a classic。 I voluntarily read and reviewed this complimentary copy of this well-written, beautiful children’s book。

Just In Case You Ever Feel Alone is a pleasant reminder of the warm care of a loved one and, even more so, the care of God for each of us。 The board book is of good, sturdy quality, and fairly large。 The illustrations are sweet and colorful。 This is marketed for infants to 4-year-olds, but I’d likely place it in the upper ages of that range。 The text is quite long and young children may have difficulty attending through the entire story。 The text has some, although very little, more complex lang Just In Case You Ever Feel Alone is a pleasant reminder of the warm care of a loved one and, even more so, the care of God for each of us。 The board book is of good, sturdy quality, and fairly large。 The illustrations are sweet and colorful。 This is marketed for infants to 4-year-olds, but I’d likely place it in the upper ages of that range。 The text is quite long and young children may have difficulty attending through the entire story。 The text has some, although very little, more complex language。 Overall, this is a very nice book but doesn’t stand out enough to make it a regular read for our family。 。。。more

I was hoping to love this book--in fact, I already had it sitting in my Amazon cart to order for my kids as I read the advance copy。 The illustrations are beautiful, and my kids and I usually love Max Lucado's stories, but this one just wasn't up to my expectation。 I imagined the focus would be more on the fact that God is always with us, not that I (as mom) would be the one to make my child never feel alone。 On top of that, I found several pages difficult to read, as I could not quite find the I was hoping to love this book--in fact, I already had it sitting in my Amazon cart to order for my kids as I read the advance copy。 The illustrations are beautiful, and my kids and I usually love Max Lucado's stories, but this one just wasn't up to my expectation。 I imagined the focus would be more on the fact that God is always with us, not that I (as mom) would be the one to make my child never feel alone。 On top of that, I found several pages difficult to read, as I could not quite find the rhythm and it seemed to shift from one page to the next。 My favorite part of the book were the last few pages, where the emphasis did shift to reminding a child that God is always with them--that's where I feel the real comfort lies, and it's what I would hope to teach my children! People may fail them, hurt them or leave them feeling alone, but the Lord will never leave them or forsake them! 。。。more

Just in Case You Ever Feel Alone gives children (and adults) the sweet reminder that someone is there for them, even during the loneliest of times。 This book is written from a non-denominational Christian perspective。 It is written in poetic form by Max Lucado and beautifully illustrated by Eve Tharlet。 It does have a page in the front to write a child’s name if gifting the book。 Just in Case You Ever Feel Alone would be a lovely gift for the baby shower of a Christian family or baby dedication。 Just in Case You Ever Feel Alone gives children (and adults) the sweet reminder that someone is there for them, even during the loneliest of times。 This book is written from a non-denominational Christian perspective。 It is written in poetic form by Max Lucado and beautifully illustrated by Eve Tharlet。 It does have a page in the front to write a child’s name if gifting the book。 Just in Case You Ever Feel Alone would be a lovely gift for the baby shower of a Christian family or baby dedication。 I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book。 All thoughts and opinions are my own。 。。。more

Just in Case You Ever Feel Alone is a delightful rhyming story written by well-known author Max Lucado。 The story reassures children that even though life has ups and downs, their family is there for them and even more, God is as close as a prayer away。 We are never alone, and this book provides that tender reminder。 The main characters are a bit ambiguous, allowing the story to easily be adaptable to different family caregiver situations such as a grandparent, aunt or uncle, etc。 While the book Just in Case You Ever Feel Alone is a delightful rhyming story written by well-known author Max Lucado。 The story reassures children that even though life has ups and downs, their family is there for them and even more, God is as close as a prayer away。 We are never alone, and this book provides that tender reminder。 The main characters are a bit ambiguous, allowing the story to easily be adaptable to different family caregiver situations such as a grandparent, aunt or uncle, etc。 While the book is geared toward 3-7 year olds, both my 6 and 10 year old children really enjoyed the story and the beautiful illustrations。 It is one we will cherish for years to come!I was blessed to receive a free copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for my honest review。 。。。more

Heartwarming, sweet and beautifully illustrated book to reassure your child that you and God will always be there for them when they are lonely or in trouble。 The best is that all the text is in rhyme。 So, if you read out loud enough times, it might be remembered forever by your child! And maybe even by you (We adults need reassurance too sometimes, don’t we?!)Love this enough to give it a most heart-felt 5 stars。 Highly recommended。I received a complimentary copy of this book。 Opinions expresse Heartwarming, sweet and beautifully illustrated book to reassure your child that you and God will always be there for them when they are lonely or in trouble。 The best is that all the text is in rhyme。 So, if you read out loud enough times, it might be remembered forever by your child! Just in Case you ever feel alone is a cute story that encourages children that they are never alone。 It first is a mom reminding their child and then her telling him that Jesus will never leave him and will always be with him wherever he goes。 This would make a great bedtime story, there are a lot of fun illustrations that make the story come to life。

What a sweet book! I think we often forget that children can sometimes feel alone, even surrounded by family and friends, and this book is such a great reminder that they are never alone。 I love that the story talks about how both the parent and God are always present, even when unseen。 I think children need to be reminded of this often。(I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review)
